counting my blessings.

It's been over a month since I posted...but I, like many of my girlfriends, promise to get better at blogging! March flew by and April has been a whirlwind month! Let's see....so much has happened!

My team (UGA Women's Tennis) has just finished with conference play and is waiting to find out where they will play in the first round of the NCAA tournament! Go Dawgs!

I have been elected to serve as President of the UGA Sports Medicine Club for 2011-2012!
I found out my clinical rotation for this fall will be UGA FOOTBALL! I'm so excited!! :)

My beautiful little sister, Dakota, has been awarded the Wendy's Heisman Award, the Vince Dooley Award, is Star Student 2011, will be speaking at Graduation, has decided to attend the University of Georgia this fall & looked AMAZING for her Senior prom a few weeks ago! I'm SO proud of her! Love you Sis!

My darling little brother, Dalton, begins spring practice for football Monday & I can't wait to cheer him on this fall! Love you Boo!

Dakota, Boo (Dalton) & I recently hiked Panther Creek Falls--if you get a chance, you should go! It's beautiful and not a bad trail at all!

One of my best friends Abby Potts graduates from North Georgia College & State University tomorrow! I have known her since kindergarten & am so glad we are still part of each others' lives! She is the first in our group to graduate from college! Congratulations Abby! Love you!

Senior Year Pep Rally :)

Probably the most exciting thing that has happened to me this month, no, DEFINITELY the most exciting thing, was a surprise plane ticket to visit my favorite soldier, Clay, in California! It was the first time we have gotten to visit since Christmas & the first time I have ever flown, ever left home by myself, and ever been to Cali & it was one of the most amazing things I have ever been able to do! We spent four days tooling around the bay and beaches where he lives, goofing off and being lazy. It was wonderful! I am so thankful that I am getting to share this time in my life with such an amazing person!
lucky me.  :)

Last, but certainly not least, I have also realized, with all that I have been blessed with in in the last month, and all that has happened around our country and the world, that it really is the little things that make a life worthwhile. I am praying for all the people who have suffered from natural disasters recently, and ask that you do the same! I believe in a God bigger than any of these storms & know he will bring comfort to those that are hurting!

Have a great week! & if you're gearing up for final exams & summer & graduation, Good Luck! :)

love, Nene
