Happy Memorial Day!

Since most of our country just had the same thing for lunch and/or dinner, it only seems appropriate to post about all the other little things that we have in common (besides apple pie, football & Coca-Cola)--all the things that make being an American great.

We live in a place where we are free to agree and disagree, where we have the opportunity to pursue whatever our dreams may be and all the places they may take us, where we are free to provoke thought, spark revolution and incite change if we feel compelled. We have the opportunity to dream as big or small as we want and define what 'the American dream' is for ourselves. And while being American means a lot of different things to a lot of different people, here's what it means to me.

I'm loving that I got to spend the day with my best girlfriends soaking up some rays by the pool!

I'm loving the article that turned up in my Google Alerts on why high schools need Athletic Trainers!!  (As an AT student and aspiring high school ATC it made my day that other people see the need for health care providers to be accessible by high school athletes!) I'm loving that my little sister, Miss Whitney Dakota Chandler, is officially a high school graduate! Congratulations Sis! I'm also loving that she will be attending the University of Georgia with me this fall! Go Dawgs!

I'm loving my new, floppy hat for the summer! Can't wait to wear it for lazy evening walks around town & lounging by the pool & lake! (Compliments of Target!)

I'm also loving that I am slowly getting better at blogging & adding badges and gadgets to my page!
